Optimising the practice experience for patients, reducing the workload for staff
The challenge
An association of medical facilities would like to digitise practice communication and thus improve it for patients and staff. Due to specific security requirements and individual wishes, standard systems are out of the question.
The Xamalink solution
First, the entire ‘life cycle’ of patient-practice communication is recorded and analysed. The individual process steps are then mapped in a separate platform that can be edited by both practice staff and patients (via app). Data sovereignty remains with the practice, as it manages the data locally. The system is connected to existing software via interfaces.
The result
Everything from recording patient master data and making appointments to planning and arranging follow-up appointments is controlled by a central platform. The service level for patients is noticeably increased and also provides an image advantage. Staff are relieved of routine tasks.

Each patient can ‘check in’ independently using a practice terminal. Current waiting times are displayed on screens.
